Procedure to Download Aadhaar card or Verify by Name
In case you don’t have an enrolment ID or your Aadhaar number, you still have the option to verify your Aadhaar on the official UIDAI portal. All you need to do is fill out the required information such as name and DOB and follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Visit the official portal of UIDAI
Step 2: Click on the “Aadhaar Services“ option under my Aadhaar tab.
Step 3: Click on the “Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID” under my Aadhaar tab.
Step 4: Fill out the required information such as name, registered mobile number, and security code.
Step 5: Review the box Aadhaar no. option or your Enrolment ID option.
Step 6: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, after the verification, you can download your e-Aadhaar.
Note: The Aadhaar will be a password-protected PDF file in your downloads tab. You need to fill out an eight-character password to access the e-Aadhaar file. The password will be the first four alphabet characters of your name in capital letters and your year of birth in the YYYY format.

Step 2: Right-click on your digital signature once you open the file.
Step 3: You will be redirected to “Validate Signature” options. “View Signed Version” and Show Signature Properties”.
Step 4: Click on the “Show Signature Properties” option, now click on the “Show Signature Certificate” after that, click on the “Trust Tab” button.
Step 5: A pop-up window called Certificate Viewer will open after clicking on the ”Trust Tab” button. This pop-up window will include information such as “Certify Document”, “Sign Document Data” and other details. Now you have to click on the “Add to Trusted Certificates”.
Step 6: Click on “Okay” once a confirmation message pops up.
Step 7: Now, a window called “Import Contact Setting” will be displayed along with “DS UIDAI 03”
Step 8: Check the “Trust” and click on the “Ok” button.
Step 9: The “Signature Properties” will be displayed on the screen again. Now click on the “Validate Signature”
Step 10: Your digital signature is now valid.
